The Torso Vase didn't begin as a torso. I had a very different idea at the start. When the clay spoke, I listened. The slight torso shape appeared and I let it be. Cast from stoneware clay and hand glazed, each piece reveals the color variations of our hands-on process.

Oolong is a rich black tea shade of glossy brown. Its deep glass-like surface looks especially stunning mixed with Mist or Chalk on pale or dark wood.
