The 13" Torso Vase didn't begin as a torso. I had a very different idea at the start. When the clay spoke, I listened. The slight torso shape appeared and I let it be. Cast from stoneware clay and hand glazed, each piece reveals the color variations of our hands-on process.

Peat is an almost mirror oil black. This indescribable color is a perfect foil for food, and is at home on every table.
